Anson Krekeler joined the band in the fall of 2016 after playing a solo acoustic show with Dark Water Rebellion in Santa Monica. Anson has added the folk element back into the live DWR set that can be found in the early EP recordings, performing with the 1930s banjolin that became a staple of the DWR southern gothic sound, and ripping a dark, dirty blues harmonica.

Rock & Tree is an all ourdoor venue and campground that Anson and his wife have build and run. We source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. We now live on the property in a 24ft camper and we feel so lucky that our dream is slowly becoming a reality. We host campers, weddings, festivals and Open Mics the first Sunday of Every month, see our company website for more details
